UPDATE: Didn't last long...back to the correct price of $50.

It says Platform: Gamecube right on the screen, print it out if you order just in case. Take advantage and you'll end up with a cheap game or perhaps a gift card if they cancel your order. It's flying up the sales rank charts at the moment...for $30 shipped.

DEAL:  Spare Canon Elph Battery at Amazon.com   $25

    Talk Back! (3)
While discussing digital cameras in a forum I frequent, I noticed that a company named Digicom has started making replacement batteries for the Canon PowerShot Elph line. Priced at only $20, they're certainly less expensive than Canon's $50 replacements. All of the digital Elph models (S110, S200, etc) share the same battery type.

Note: Canon's battery probably holds more juice, but compare that to carrying more, cheaper spares at the same price.

    DEAL:  Diamond Rio 300 MP3 Player at Buy.com   $41
Posted Thursday, October 24 2002 somewhere around 9AM by John

The Rio 300 was easily the first solid MP3 player on the market. I ended up buying one back a few years ago when it was only $100 after rebate and used it extensively throughout college. It's still kicking today and provides me with entertainment on long car trips.

If you want a lightweight, sturdy MP3 player for cheap, give the Rio 300 a shot for $35 + $6 s/h = $41 shipped. It's a great little unit that is still priced for $131 at Amazon!

The current Price Mistake of the Day at Buy.com is this Koss Boombox. It plays CDs and MP3/CDs, making it one of the cheapest MP3/CD-players on the market. Not bad for a desk or a cookout seeing as you can store like 12 hours of MP3s on one CD. The price is $40 + $6 s/h = $46 shipped.

I tried to find a review online but there aren't any. This must be a new model.

Okay, just so you guys don't miss out, I'm going to post this one along with the other deal sites. Unlike them, though, I'm going to mention that I haven't personally used MagCity (unlike FreeBizMag) and some parts seem sketchy. Their Bizrate rating isn't too hot and they aren't shipping to several states (see signup form) but their FAQ page seems to be legit where they talk about not sharing your info. Also: Men's Journal.

Odds are good you'll never see the issues (like their Sporting News deals earlier), but take a shot if you're interested. No CC#'s are required, so you should be fine. If I ever get my TSN subscription, MagCity goes on my good list.
