Posted Thursday, October 24 2002 somewhere around 1PM by John Talk Back! (3) |

While discussing digital cameras in a forum I frequent, I noticed that a company named Digicom has started making replacement batteries for the Canon PowerShot Elph line. Priced at only $20, they're certainly less expensive than Canon's $50 replacements. All of the digital Elph models (S110, S200, etc) share the same battery type. Note: Canon's battery probably holds more juice, but compare that to carrying more, cheaper spares at the same price. |

Their Bizrate rating isn't too hot and they aren't shipping to several states (see signup form) but their FAQ page seems to be legit where they talk about not sharing your info. Also: Men's Journal. Odds are good you'll never see the issues (like their Sporting News deals earlier), but take a shot if you're interested. No CC#'s are required, so you should be fine.
